The Tenute Rio Maggio wine company is located in the Fermo area, in a prevalent hilly territory, whose limestone-clay soils and accentuated slopes, at good exposure to the sun and cooled by sea and nighttime
breezes are very suitable to viticulture.
Rio Maggio’s vineyards enjoy a privileged position and an extremely favorable microclimate, thanks to the proximity to the sea, which is only 15 km far.
The vineyards are planted on limestone-siliceous hilly grounds and enjoy a cool and windy climate and a good insolation, such as to allow the slow ripening of the grapes.
