I.G.T. Bianco Marche
My name is Telusiano and I am a masterpiece of personality and typicalness! With me you can meet the authentic soul of this territory. In 1200 the area closed to Rio Maggio’s properties, the current town of Monte San Giusto, was called like me.
The main church of the country bears the name of Santa Maria della Pietà in Telusiano and preserves the great altarpiece of the Crucifixion by the artist Lorenzo Lotto, paid at that time in fiorins and in Ascolana olive oil.
I was born from a precious selection of native grapes variety: 40% Trebbiano, 30% Pecorino, 30% Verdicchio.
You will be delighted by my particular finesse and richness of typical notes of this territory.
In order to get this special achievement, I require a particular care at all stages: the selection of the grapes bunches in the vineyard, the harvest by hand in small boxes (max 20 kg), the gentle pressing and selection of musts (free-run must), the maceration on the skins according to an ancient winemaking technique.
I perfectly match with: grilled fish, fish soup, white meats, cold cuts.
My winemaking process Fermentation: in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature of 18°C, with selection of must.
Maturation: in stainless steel tanks on the lees until the month of March/April.
Aging: 2-3 months in the bottle.
