Falerio D.O.C.
My name is Monte Del Grano, a tribute to my territory, famous in the past time for the quality of the grain “selected for the bread of the princes” and for the Pope’s guards (hence the name of
the town Montegranaro).
My grapes are 40% Trebbiano, 30% Pecorino and 30% Passerina. As I am in the last part of the Doc Falerio Dei Colli Ascolani area, I have gained from this territory, distinguishing and valuable peculiarities,
enhanced by careful winemaking techniques as the soft pressing of the grapes, cold must decanting at 8-10°C and the control of fermentation temperatures at 16-18° C.
I am a wine with a fresh and savory taste, smooth and refreshing, with delicate and inviting perfumes of white flowers, plum and pear.
I perfectly match with: fish dishes, cold cuts, cheeses and Ascolana olive.
My winemaking process Fermentation: in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature of 16-18°C.
Maturation: in stainless steel tanks.
Aging: in bottle for 1 month.
