Extra Dry Sparkling Rosé
My name is Melgrà, because my colour is very similar to the pomegranate fruits; my bubbles are a blend of sunshine and refinement.
My grapes are 100% Pinot Noir, a great vine that with its aromatic kindness is very suitable to be converted into sparkling wine.
My production is based on scrupulous attention in the care and selection of the best grapes, picked at a degree of early ripening, then brought to the cellar in small crates to protect the integrity of the grapes.
The conversion into sparkling wine according to the Charmat or Martinotti method enhances my aromatic and fruity notes with a fresh and harmonious result.
I have a delicate fragrance that fascinates with notes of strawberries and wild berries, while in the mouth I offer a precise flavor.
I perfectly match with: appetizers, fish soup, sushi, tagliolini with shrimps, oysters and raw shellfish.
My winemaking process Fermentation: classic Rosé winemaking technique in contact with the skins for 2 hours in the absence of oxygen.
The fermentation has a duration of 12-13 days at a temperature of 16°C.
Refermentation/Froth capture: in autoclaves (Charmat or Martinotti method) on the lees for 150 days.
